Many people avoid wood staining because they’re afraid to make a mistake. While DIY staining might sound like something best left to the pros, it’s really not that hard. Whether using paint, staining or a combination of the two, you just need some confidence and a little know how. If you take your time and make sure that the surfaces are properly prepared and that you have the right tools for the job, you should be able to handle it.
