Taking it easy

I have over 30 years of experience with just about everything to do with home improvements and home renovations and home repairs. This gives me good reference to many home improvement ideas. Some home improvement jobs that I have been involved with required kitchen remodeling.
In kitchen remodeling you will be using the most amount of different skills. You will need obviously drywalling skills because here you will most certainly be putting on glossier paint which will show up drywall imperfections.Kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling involve carpenter work (framing out bulk heads and drywall stud work) and then you will have to be able to do some plastering.After the plastering you will have to paint the room.You will probably buy kitchen cabinets from a building supply center like Home Depot for example. You will have to lay out where the cabinets go on the walls measuring accurately for distances for things to work right. After hanging and installing your kitchen cabinets you do your finishing touches. These are all little tiny skills which you have to learn to make the job of a professional. You’re measuring and layout has to be on a higher level also because of the more complicated fashion of the room. You are going to have to contend with laying out your kitchen cabinets. And as you can expect you’ll have to work around some plumbing issues and electrical outlet issues and some lighting issues.
so if you’re good at kitchen remodeling you will also do very well in bathroom remodeling because they both require just about the same skill sets.
This leads me into another topic if you already have experience in DIY home improvement and renovations then this will lead you to DIY home repairs. If for example: if you have taken out a toilet or kitchen sink and put a new one in, your more experienced in attempting a kitchen renovation or bathroom renovation.
then we get into the floor finishes where we get into ceramic tiling linoleum flooring, and marble.
